On Tuesday, November 2, Florida voters went to the polls and defeated the much-debated Florida Comprehensive Land Use Plan known as Amendment 4. The ballot measure, which required a 60 percent majority to pass, has been the subject of much controversy for the past few years.

Chelsea DeVries is a 19 year old Saint Leo University student and has already written ten novels, two of which have been published. She is majoring in accounting and is getting her minor inwriting. This reporter interviewed DeVries to get a closer look at her book writing experiences.

American vampire films these days tend to feature pale men and women with undeniable sex appeal as their otherworldly protagonists, and also tend to be love stories rather than pictures that focus on the true nature of monsters. To many, this is a mockery of the genre. However, now there is a picture out that represents a switch from what has become the typical American vampire movie to the older standard of horror.

She, along with others found a place to fight for the ones they love through the Team in Training. The Team in Training was established a year after Steve’s birth, in 1988 in New York, the very state he grew up in.
