It is that time of year once again; Bingo time. Not just any Bingo, tonight’s event was Christmas themed. With lights streaming in different colors all throughout the room, and prizes ranging from flat screen TV’s to famous Christmas movies. Bingo is commonly known as one of Saint Leo’s most popular events. There are always fantastic prizes, creative and inviting hosts, and the entertainment is wonderful.SCC Boardrooms filled with bingo contestants

In fact, Adam Keselicka, a freshman at Saint Leo agreed, saying, “The hosts and hostesses were outstanding. They were fun, they kept me entertained. I would most certainly come back.” He also said, “Bingo was fantastic! They had a great Christmas atmosphere.”

Candy canes were being tossed out effortlessly throughout the room and the hosts wore appropriately themed Christmas sweaters. Some of which went all out and committed to the event by wearing festive wrapping bows in their hair. The environment was fun and super exciting with dance contests to classic Christmas tunes including, “All I want for Christmas is you.” During these dance offs, the lights would turn down low, and with the music on high, it would be hard to not get into the groove.Bingo playoff profile shot

“I’ve only been up there once for a loser bingo, but never got close to winning. So, that’s why I danced my butt off to make sure I won something.” Said Journey Isom, the winner of a Samsung tablet.Bingo winner profile shot

Additionally, after asking Sandra Swiderski, a freshman, how she like the prizes stated, “I really liked them. I’m disappointed that I didn’t win anything, but everyone seemed to have a really good time, and were really excited with what they got.”  For students who were first timers coming to Bingo, Sydnee Daniels, a freshman said, “I thought it was really fun. I didn’t win…unlucky. But I’ll definitely come back next time and show up and show out.”Speaker winner from bingo
