Moonlight Madness Motivates Many

A Saint Leo tradition for many years, Moonlight Madness signals the start of a brand new basketball season. Usually, the event is filled with special performers and big prizes. This year, the Student Government Union and the Athletics department decided to go for a simpler and more interactive event for fans and teams alike. The result was a Moonlight Madness that many students found more enjoyable than the previous year.

Senate Elections

It is the beginning of a new academic year; students came from across the world to gather here at Saint Leo University as one big family. To ensure that the students’ voices are heard, senate elections are held at the beginning of every academic year. A 112-5 vote on Saturday, Sep. 29, ended the NFL referee lockout. The officials were returned to the job that is full of disagreements, unruly fans, and split-second decisions.

Laundry Room at Saint Leo: Issues and Suggestions

Several students are complaining about the laundry rooms in the residence halls at Saint Leo University. Both male and female students encounter the same problems. Since there are not enough washers and dryers, the laundry process becomes slower and harder. Besides this, certain students leave their belongings in the laundry room for hours; thus, cause other students to wait for them.
