Easter candies are one of the key things that most would look forward to every year when Easter comes around. There are a variety of different candies, from chocolate to jellybeans, and people have their likes and dislikes.

Easter candies can be given in baskets or inside of Easter eggs- either way, candy has become a staple during this holiday season. The Lions’ Pride Media Group asked students to rank their favorite Easter candies and though it was a tough competition, certain kinds of candy were superior.

The first student that we asked gave a common and expected ranking of their top three favorite easter candies: chocolate eggs, Peeps, and jellybeans.

It seemed like the more students we asked, the more we realized they were all saying the same candies but in a different order. For example, another student ranked Nerf clusters as three, Peeps as two and chocolate bunnies as one.

Another popular combination of candy was Easter M&Ms, mini eggs, and chocolate bunnies. In asking multiple students, we noticed a pattern with the mention of Peeps, chocolate bunnies, and Easter M&Ms.

Some students even mentioned the egg-shaped Reese’s, Hershey chocolate bunnies, and jellybeans (again). If we were to gather all the students ranking to make a top 3 Easter candy chart, it would be quite easy to discern.

Coming in third place would be the Easter M&Ms. Easter M&Ms are the regular M&Ms, but they have a more variety of bright, colorful shells, perfect for the holiday.

In second place would be none other than the famous marshmallow Peeps. Peeps are the tastiest bunny-shaped marshmallows that you can eat in assorted colors. They can even come in the form of chicks in yellow- most students interviewed mentioned these.

First place to the most top ranked would be the chocolate bunny. This is because most students had milk chocolate eggs and bunnies in their top 3- it is a classic!

In all, eating Easter candies is like enjoying a colorful, tasty burst of happiness! Whether the candy is in an egg or a basket, it is the perfect treat for people of all ages. What is your favorite candy?
