As spring fills the air, Easter approaches with spiritual reflections and joyful celebration, Easter eggs, and festive gatherings. People look forward to many different things, but most people love the joy they feel when they receive an Easter basket.

Easter baskets are filled with color and delight, serving as reminders of love and appreciation shared during this special season. Some Easter baskets can be filled with candies, while others can be filled with games, snacks, or gift cards.

“I believe items like snacks, gift cards, apparel, or fun activities are what makes a good Easter basket,” said Anabelita Lopez, a sophomore majoring in accounting.

One of the most traditional Easter baskets are the ones filled with candies. Filling a basket with Easter candies is a very affordable and sweet way to share joy with someone during the Easter holiday.

Some extremely popular Easter candies that can be in the basket include chocolate bunnies, marshmallow chicks, jellybeans, and colorful candy eggs. With the help of creativity and dollar stores, this gift can be created for less than 10 dollars.

Another Easter basket includes one filled with toys and games. You can find out what kind of games and toys a person likes and fill an Easter basket with them.

Filling an Easter basket with books for a book lover is also a great way to share your adoration during the season. You can include some of their favorite books along with Easter-themed books to keep the theme going.

As a college student, snacks are always appreciated. Filling an Easter basket with snacks is another cost-effective way to create an Easter basket to give to someone.

Food is another great way to make use of an Easter basket. Gift cards from a restaurant nearby, or even on campus can be a very great gift for someone.

When creating an Easter basket for someone, it is all about creativity, and the thought that counts.

“You can never go wrong with chocolate eggs or bunnies, some gift cards to FUZ or a nice vanilla spring body spray from Bath and Body Works,” said Chrischelle Thompson, a junior majoring in business management.

Easter baskets hold a special significance as they symbolize many different aspects of the Easter holiday. They are fun and special to give and receive, as we all celebrate the spirit of Easter in a time of renewal, celebration, joy, and togetherness.
