As a broke college student, it is hard to find a Halloween costume that looks fashionable without breaking the bank. With all the studying and working, who has time to buy a fashionable Halloween costume without going over budget? Here are a couple of ideas for quick, cheap, fashionable, and last-minuteHalloween costumes for individuals, couples, and groups of friends.

For individuals costume ideas, one of the most popular Halloween costumes in Florida is Wednesday Adams. To channel her dark and eerie aesthetic, it is recommended to wear an all-black dress or a long black skirt with a black top, and to put your hair into two pigtails. Makeup, such as black eye shadow and a dark lip color will make the whole outfit look exactly like Wednesday.

Furthermore, for the guys, a simple yet fashionable Halloween costume idea is Maverik from Top Gun. A Maverik inspired outfit sports plain blue jeans, army style boots, a white plain tee, a green bomber jacket, and sunglasses.

When it comes to trendy TV shows, The Summer I Turned Pretty is one to watch for Gen Z. Whether you are team Jeremiah or team Conrad, we all can agree it would be a great idea to dress up as any one of the characters. Any cute, girly, summer aesthetic outfits including a baby doll top and denim shorts would fit Belly’s aesthetic. For a Conrad or Jeramiah outfit, referencing any of the outfits from seasons 1 or 2 will bring the characters to life.

When it comes to cartoon couples, Daphanie and Fred from the Scooby Doo franchise are iconic. To channel Daphanie’s esthetic, any purple dress with a green headband, a green scarf, and white boots will make it cute and trendy. On the other hand, Fred’s outfit is more basic with any white polo shirt, an orange scarf, and blue jeans.

Additionally, another iconic couple everybody loves is Barbie and Ken, especially with the recent release of the Barbie movie. To complete the Barbie look, any pink clothing with sparkling accessories will make the costume feel like “a Barbie girl in a Barbie world.” To match Barbie, a fashionable Ken outfit idea would be a preppy aesthetic with some sort of pop of pink to complement Barbie’s outfit.
