Bournemouth Vs Everton

With the two sides very evenly matched, it was Everton’s costly defending mistakes that caused Everton to fall short. Their first mistake was allowing Bournemouth’s striker, Andrew Watson, to hit the net early on in the first half. Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored his overdue first goal in 13 games to make it all square before the half. Ryan Fraser’s free-kick from the left was deflected past Everton’s Jordan Pickford by Fabian Delph to give Bournemouth the lead.

Wilson then managed to take his chances by attacking the Everton defense and     skillfully chipping the ball over Pickford’s head to secure a 3-1 win for Bournemouth. This win gives Bournemouth a confident winning feeling with their first home win of the season.

For Everton, hopes of a top-six finish looks hopeless as they remain without an away win this season.

Arsenal Vs Watford

A typical expert finish from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had Arsenal looking clinical from the start despite Watford’s calls for a foul in the build-up. An Arsenal striker made it 2-0 shortly after with a simple finish from a great build up play in the middle of the park.

Watford scored just after half time through Tom Cleverley as an arsenal defender was caught playing out from the back. Not so long after, Arsenal made a huge mistake again as David Luiz tripped Watford’s striker Roberto Pereyra inside the penalty area giving Watford a chance to put the game all square. He had no hesitation and placed it in the corner giving the keeper no chance of saving it.

Watford should have won it in a chaotic final 15 minutes, but the thrilling affair ended level, meaning Arsenal will stay seventh on eight points from five games, while Watford stays bottom, but with their confidence back.
