Poet to fantasy novelist: Lester Williams Jr.

In Spring 2022, Lester Williams Jr. left Saint Leo University with a degree in professional writing and a dream to continue being published. When he was a young teenager in New Providence, The Bahamas, Williams self-published a book of poetry. It was his first taste of the creative world.

Saint Leo’s Christmas tree lighting  

As the sun set on the horizon, the Christmas tree lighting ceremony was set up near the clock tower outside of the Student Activities Building. The ceremony began with an introduction speech by the Vice President of Student Affairs, Jen Shaw, accompanied by Santa and Mrs. Claus. The promise of games, activities, and performances by Lucas Nocera, the Assistant Director of the University Ministry, as well as the music department had the crowd brewing up Christmas spirit.
