The Wellness Center kicked off with an open house event on Tuesday, Jan. 18, where trainers informed students about the various classes available in their building. Lions who attended were not only interested in learning about the various group and individual sessions offered by the instructors, but they were also interested in learning how to stay healthy as college students.

Since 1952, the Miss Universe Organization has been hosting an annual international beauty pageant known as Miss Universe. In the competition, women must answer questions about themselves and their countries while modeling various outfits, such as a swimming costume. The beginning of a new year is a chance for new challenges and goals paired with motivation to be better than the year before. This mindset especially applies to the student-athletes at Saint Leo University, who accomplished great things last year and want to proceed to do that with their team this Spring semester. The athletic teams strive to be at the top throughout all NCAA Division II programs.
