Revered as an embodiment of leadership and an emblem of service, General Colin L. Powell died on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at age 84. Powell was a national pioneer, serving as the United States’ first Black national security adviser, a diplomat, a soldier, a secretary of state, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman.

Both Saint Leo University’s men and women soccer teams are well past the halfway point of the season with five games remaining for each team. While their seasons might not have been ideal up to this point, there is still a lot worth highlighting.
While there are already a number of established restrictions on free speech, in recent times, many have called for increasing restrictions on what should be allowed under the First Amendment.
October is here and so is Halloween. The Campus Activities Board (CAB) of Saint Leo University has some events organized for this month with Halloween-related activities on campus. If you want to explore outside campus, there are some events around the Dade City-Wesley Chapel area too. It does not have to be Oct. 31 yet to go to a haunted house!
It is safe to mention that my perception of what frames free speech in the United States is entirely different from what is considered free speech in many other international countries.
