The Dade City Farms Christmas Night Market

The Dade City Farms Christmas Night Market on Dec. 1 and 2 was a huge hit! From markets to food vendors to tractor rides to slides, an elf show, and even a surprise visit from Santa Claus, it was impossible to run out of things to do.

Upon entering the festival, Christmas lights are everywhere, with perfect picture spots. There was a tiny shop where you could walk inside to pick out smores for the bonfire! Also, the shop had toys, blankets, books, and gingerbread cookie kits.

As you made your way around the park, there were great food places, such as “Agape Greeks Bakery,” “Meat Stix,” “El Roy’s Elotes,” and much more! There was live music by Kyle Velez, who played the guitar beautifully as the kids played, and everyone shopped.

For kids, there were photos with Santa, a tractor ride, animals to feed and pet, corn to play in, and a magnificent elf circus show where a family was doing flips into hula hoops. It made kids, and even the parents, amazed and shocked. It was an incredible and must-see event!

A Clearwater local, Sharlene Dilks, who visited the Christmas festival, said her favorite part was “the s’mores and the number of vendors there were for shopping.”

There were tons of different markets! You could walk around for an hour and look at all the fantastic shops. One of the shops was called “ShelfLife Creations.” Aislinn Jernigan and PaitonWilliams created this company. They started their creative company in March of this year, and the Christmas festival was their first-ever vendor event.

They create so many fantastic items you wouldn’t believe. They are licensed with Sarah J. Maas, a New York bestselling author who writes popular fantasy novels like the “A Court of Thornes and Roses” series. They create and sell different unique items that relate to her books.

“I kept seeing the items used in the stories and thinking that it would be cool to make! So, I just started creating,” Jernigan said.

The Market was incredible. Don’t miss out on all this fun next year!
