Thanksgiving is the best time of the year because it’s an all you can eat buffet! Well, now that Thanksgiving passed, what’s left to do with all this food?
There’s no point in wasting everything by throwing them away, remember that many are not as fortunate, so try not to throw away food. Here are some tasty recipes for you to try.
One of the meals you can try is Turkey Bolognese, which is basically spaghetti and turkey. You’ll need leftover turkey that you can shred, oil, marinara sauce, spaghetti, and any seasonings that you’ll like to add to your pasta. This meal only takes 30 minutes to cook. Its delicious and best served with parmesan.
Turkey’s still on the menu? Let’s try a tasty Roast Turkey, Avocado, and Bacon Sandwich. You get turkey, avocado, cheese, bacon, bread, and seasonings of your choice. In this simple, intermediate meal, that will take you about 30 minutes to make, and it’s great for when you’re in a rush.
Another dinner idea is Stuffed Meatloaf, which will take about an hour to make it will be worth it. Using your leftover chestnuts, onions, carrots, celery, chicken broth, eggs, veal, ketchup, ground beef, ground pork, and marinara sauce. All of these will be mixed in your baking pan. You will bake until the meatloaf is cooked and firm the way that you like it.
Time is something that most don’t have, well this Day-After Dip is an easy, 10-minute snack to make. Using leftover sweet potatoes, this meal can fill up to twelve people. Get some white beans, parmesan, nuts, crackers, oil, and any seasoning of your choosing.
Your dip can be eaten with just about any chips that you have, not to mention that it is it’s a fun and delicious snack.
We all love pastries, so imagine bringing your taste buds to life with Cranberry-Carrot Muffins. This healthy, yet mouthwatering muffin takes only 25 minutes to make with carrots and cranberry chunks. You can have these with some hot chocolate, or you can have them for breakfast. All you’ll need is some flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, butter, eggs, cranberry and carrot chunks to prepare your new holiday favorite.
Another sweet treat is Cinnamon Sugar Scrap Cookies, which takes only 20 minutes to make about twelve cookies, depending on whether you double up on the ingredients or not.
With this easy pastry, you’ll need leftover pie dough scraps, cinnamon, sugar, and butter. You’ll put everything on your baking sheet after you form them into balls, and you will bake them for about 12 minutes.
