In honor of National Pizza Month this October, here are some places near University Campus that you can visit to celebrate. From famous pizza places—such as Domino’s, Hungry Howie’s, and Pizza Hut—to local Dade City businesses—such as ABC Pizza House and Al’s Famous Pizza, there are many options available to the Saint Leo community for dine-in and delivery.
Al’s Famous Pizza is located at 11931 Curley St, San Antonio, FL 33576, and is open from 11a.m. to 9p.m.
The nearest place to Saint Leo is a local family-friendly restaurant called Al’s Famous Pizza. It is located at the corner of SR-52 and Curley Street, about five minutes away from campus. Available for carryout and dine-in, this pizza place offers many options to eat. Some of the things available in Al’s Famous Pizza are salads, calzones, cheese bread, gluten-free pizza, wings, and freshly handmade pizzas. In addition, as a way to give back to the community, Al’s Famous Pizza hosts spirit nights on Wednesdays to support schools in the Dade City area. Another great place near campus is Pizza Hut. The best pizza brand so far is so close to campus that you cannot resist its great quality pizza. Located only 10 minutes away on U.S. Highway 301, you can order your pizza from the comfort of your dorm and get it delivered fast and easy. There are great options on the menu such as wings, pasta, cheese bread, cinnamon rolls, Ultimate Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Cookie, Hershey’s Triple Chocolate Brownie, and—most importantly—the delicious classic pizza. You can choose a pizza from the menu or create your own with your favorite toppings. Open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., you can enjoy your Pizza Hut any time you want.
Hungry Howie’s is located at 12710 US-301, Dade City, FL 33525, and is open from 11 a.m. to 10p.m., and until 12 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
For affordable options, great for students, Hungry Howie’s is the place to go. Its great deals and very affordable menu should definitely be considered.
