With a brand-new semester underway, students have come back to be welcomed with mounds of assignments that need to be done. Most schedules consist of late-night studying and trying to hang out with friends in places that are great for winding down. If you are one of those students who are on the search for a chill location with great food and an awesome atmosphere, check out a local pizza shop known as Commandoughs Pizza. The location is only 15 minutes off campus in the Zephyrhills area and has options for any visitor.
The pizza is made from scratch with plenty of different specials and classics, along with weekly deals such as barbeque pizza and buffalo mozzarella sticks. Of course, there is also the typical cheese and pepperoni which is always steamy and delicious. If you don’t think that you can handle the full medium or large pizzas that Commandoughs Pizza offers, you can always go with their five-dollar deal and get two large slices of fresh cheese or pepperoni with a drink which is guaranteed to fill you up.
If the food being amazing isn’t enough then the daily events will be great for you and your friends to take a night or lunch out. Wednesday night is lady’s night with live music played on the outside porch, and trivia night is offered on Thursdays where multiple kinds of prizes can be won! The service at Commandoughs Pizza is amazing from both the servers and the owner himself with everyone working there making sure you have the best experience possible. From my experience, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Commmandoughs Pizza and plan on going back again with friends and family.
