Last night, the Saint Leo men’s soccer team had their senior night for those leaving at the end of the season. Yuga Yanagisawa, Carlos Moncayo, Michael Tinari and Haydn Dickinson were the four seniors in the event. Rollins 9-5 overall and 3-5 in the SSC, won the game 2-1 over the Lions who are 3-11 overall and 0-8 in the SCC. Rollins acted quickly by taking the lead early with a quick strike by Devin Da Rocha Figue that hit the upper right corner of the net. Another goal was scored in the 23rd minute by Rollins as a loose ball in the box was converted into a score. Saint Leo tried to battle back tying it up at one point with a shot by freshman Jack Astill. He took a shot from the left side of the field and found the back of the right side of the net for his first collegiate goal. Sophomore goaltender Wessel Bernschot earned two saves on the night; however, it was not enough as he still took the loss in goal. Saint Leo will close out the 2018 season on the road against Barry Saturday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m and Tampa Tuesday, Oct. 23.

#9 Mathis Hardy, a French Native tried to help his team with 11 shots on goal this season.
