Is “Jeopardy!” in jeopardy?

Like much of the continent—even those that don’t test their trivia knowledge five nights a week—I was shocked to hear in early November 2020 that Alex Trebek had lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. And, like much of the “Jeopardy!” audience, I began to ask the question: “What comes next?”

Panhellenic Council’s Informal Recruitment week

This spring, Saint Leo’s Panhellenic Council informal recruitment will start on Jan. 31st and end on Feb. 4th. The Council assists with chapter operations, recruitment, and academic excellence for the Theta Phi Alpha, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Gamma Upsilon, and Alpha Sigma Tau sororities.

The Golfing Dutchman

Many will probably connect the word “Dutchman” with the legendary ship of the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean” starring Jonny Depp and Orlando Bloom, or others could associate the word with the opera “Flying Dutchman” from Richard Wagner and captain Bernard Fokke. But, at Saint Leo University, the expression “Dutchman” brings to mind student athlete Bas Vermeulen.
