St. Olga of Kyiv–or Kiev–is, for many, a symbol of widowhood, of a strong female leader, and of vengeance. But, for some, she is a symbol of a brutal warlord who found forgiveness in the teachings of Christ. For both Russians and Ukrainians, she is a founding figure.

For those unfamiliar with the acronym, RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, the name of the process by which an adult prepares to become Catholic. RCIA is generally conducted through a parish church; however, when students began to show interest in joining Catholic Church, Saint Leo’s University Ministry saw an opportunity to step in.
Laws are typically implemented to protect the rights of people. But sometimes, laws can be unjust and favor a specific group in society. Sometimes “good people” may see the need to break a law they find immoral. So, can legality and morality be in the same boat? The short answer is no.
What it means to be a woman is very subjective, but in part, it is a whole spectrum of gender roles based on generation, culture, class, and privilege. Women experience womanhood, or their identity, in personal, different ways besides gender roles, too.
On March 5, from 2-6 pm, Saint Leo University’s students, staff, and factually all gathered in scorching eight five-degree weather to attend the annual event of Spring Fling.
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) organizers provided students with refreshing lemonade, customizable ice cream, and tie-dye shirts at the event.
HERstory was an event held on March 8th, 2022 in the Student Community Center Boardrooms of Saint Leo University main campus, in honor of International Women’s Day. Pamela DeCius, Humanities Instructor and Associate Chair of the Language and Arts at Saint Leo University has created this event since 2009 when she was an adjunct professor.
With the first pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected Andrew Wiggins. After a very convincing off-season playing for the Cavaliers, he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a deal including Kevin Love.
