The process to become a Resident Assistant (RA) is one that has multiple steps and requires candidates to show to the Residence Life staff why they feel that they are the best person for the job. As someone who has applied for the job in the past, I found several do’s and don’ts that a candidate should consider when going through the process of becoming an RA.

Feeding Children Everywhere (FCE) is a charity organization that helps to bring the most basic needs to people throughout the world – food. FCE wants Saint Leo University (SLU) to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to help in this noble mission. “It started with four people sitting at a table with their laptops,” said Kile Riggs, Event Coordinator and a starting member of FCE.
Indeed, our upcoming graduates have contributed anywhere from 3 ½ to 7 ½ years of education, training, and commitment to higher learning. With only one hundred days left, the true test of what these students have learned from the past years comes to play. But as challenging as it is, the University wants to remind these students that there are many ways to help them now and even after they depart into these halls.
Last November thousands of voters in Florida waited for hours to cast their vote for the elected offices on the ballot from president to school board members. Many voters expressed feelings of outrage, disgust, and concern over this continued voting traffic jam. Voter ID, registration status, and precinct vote location were some of the main issues of confusion at polls.
Quality is a simple word, but it means a lot. Especially when it comes to how a student decides to buy their textbooks. It seems like an easy decision, but the cheapest price does not always guarantee that a place is going to have good service, be timely, or have decent quality textbooks in time for class.
