Remember Halloween when you were a little kid? It was epic: you got to dress up as your favorite superhero or Disney princess, walk around the neighborhood, and gather enough Snickers bars to produce a jaw full of cavities.
Egypt: A Troubled Past and Unsure Future
Tensions are running high between the US and Egypt following Washington’s decision to suspend a multi-million dollar deal that provided the Egyptian military with money and occasional supplies. This comes as a result of US dissatisfaction towards the ousting of recently elected President Mohammed Morsi, and the subsequent government crackdown on his Muslim brotherhood.

The month of October is used to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. This cancer affects both women and men. Sadly, every one out of eight women will be diagnosed, and less than 1% of men will be diagnosed.
Once Upon A Time
After a long summer without the show Once Upon A Time, it finally aired on ABC network on Sep. 29th at 8pm. The show took us into Neverland, but in a much darker version. We see the evil mermaids and the lost boys. However there is something that is different from the original Peter Pan film in Neverland. Hook seems to be the good guy, while Peter Pan seems to be the bad guy. They seem to have switched roles! There have only been a few episodes and so far the show is amazing! The more I sit down and watch this show, the more suspenseful the show becomes.

Solar Power- The bright new energy?
As we all know the race is on to find a new source of harnessing energy. With the scarce resources from fossil fuels and continuing rising prices for electricity, home heating and gas prices the holy grail for many companies is to find a natural resource to produce energy cheaply and efficiently, without damaging the environment.
What are you afraid of?
Everyone has a fear, whether it is monsters, spiders, speaking in public or being around many people at once. Fear is an unpleasant feeling of perceived risk or danger, be it real or imagined. Fear also can be described as a feeling of extreme dislike towards certain conditions, objects or situations such as: fear of darkness, fear of ghosts, etc. Don’t be surprised if someone comes up with a rare fear.
Managing your money.
For many students, college is the first time they are in control of the majority of their finances. You might now suddenly be responsible for paying your own bills, working a job that you need to make ends meet, or making the scholarship money you get in August last through December. Unfortunately, these new financial responsibilities come within a context where money is often unusually tight.

Got a midterm coming up?
You’ve got a midterm coming up. You know you need to study, but you want to go to a party that everyone will be at. If you don’t go you will be left out, but if you don’t study you know you will fail the test. Getting yourself to sit down and study can be a little complicated for a college student who loves to party and hang out with friends. Who wants to study after a long day of lectures in classes? You have your favorite show on TV or things to be done on campus. So what do you do? You start to become a procrastinator. You do all the fun things first and wait until the last minute to study.
