Caribbean culture takes center stage as CSA week at Saint Leo University celebrated Caribbean heritage through a week of events, including the Mr. and Ms. CSA pageant, cultural showcases, food, music, and interactive activities.

On March 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saint Leo University’s pro-life club, Imago Dei, hosted its largest organized event of the year outside of the Student Activities Building(SAB), featuring Students for Life of America’s Florida and Puerto Rico Regional Coordinator, Kristen Marais.
Students at Saint Leo University swipe their ID cards every day, but many do not realize how much money they could be saving. From free access to the Wellness Center to discounts on subscriptions, entertainment, and local businesses, student status comes with benefits that often go unused.
Most bears hibernate, play, and wander around in free space, but unfortunately, that was not the case for Hope the bear. Hope spent a whole year as just a cub in a cage with little to no room to roam as she was captured and kept in a small cage outside a restaurant for entertainment.
A room of women, a cup of tea, and a quiet moment to breathe set the tone for this year’s International Women’s Day Tea. The event offered students a soft space in the middle of a busy semester, inviting them to reflect on the women who inspire their growth.

It looked like everyone was traveling and having the time of their lives, but the truth was different for many students. A lot of people stayed on campus, and their Spring Break looked nothing like the pictures online.
For many students, that simply means enjoying the beaches. However, Florida offers much more than beaches and sunshine. The state has a rich history and many fascinating places that are worth visiting during spring break.
