Diwali Celebration

Diwali is mostly celebrated in India and Nepal and it is the festival of lights. It is a five-day celebration of the victory of light over darkness. During Diwali, people perform worship ceremonies to Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Because the festival falls on the same day as the Hindu New Year, it is connected with an opportunity to start again.

Saint Leo Lions Volleyball Shine in Home Match

The Saint Leo University volleyball team came back home from a short break this season with the South Region Crossover. Hosting a game against Tritons of Eckerd College on Nov. 2, they won three sets to none, 25-19, 25-20, 25-20, consecutively, leading them to three wins and three losses in the whole tournament.
