The first iPhone, created by Apple, was first released in 2007 and was only sold through the phone company AT&T. Now, it is 2014, and the iPhone has grown a lot over that past seven years; it is sold at almost every cell phone company retailer in the world. Apple continues to surprise the world with the different features each new iPhone entails. They are running a great service and are competing in an intense cell phone market with many other companies who are trying to copy Apple’s success who are selling different types of smart phones. Seven years since the original iPhone’s release, in the current year of 2014, Apple has released a new and improved version of the iPhone—the iPhone 6—that is very different from the previous iPhone including it’s most recent iPhone 5.

According to Apple, the iPhone 6 is not simply only bigger—it is better in every way. This newest edition addition of the iPhone is larger, thinner, more powerful and more efficient. There are also two versions of the iPhone 6 called the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. The regular iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches long and the Plus is 5.5 inches long. The iPhone has gone from starting at 3.5 inches to 5.5 inches. The iPhone 6’s screen is the longest it has ever been. Both versions of the iPhone 6 are available in silver, gold, and space gray. Every detail of the phone was carefully considered to enhance the experience. In terms of price, the iPhone 6 ranges from $299 to $499 depending on the amount of gigabytes. This new iPhone offers 16 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB.

The first thing you notice when you hold the new iPhone 6 is how smooth it feels in your hand. The cover glass curves around the sides to meet the aluminum. There are no distinct edges. Even though the phone is much longer and bigger, the phone is also a lot thinner and lighter.

A good phone should have new features that allow people to be able to navigate it well and use it efficiently.  The new iPhone 6 has a new A8 chip, which gives the phone more power and more efficiently gathers data. The new phone has an increased battery life and allows you to do more for a longer amount of time. The other major factor about a phone is the camera. The camera and the video on the iPhone 6 has a new sensor with Focus Pixels and new video features. The new features for video taking has 1080p HD at 60 fps, slow- motion at 240 fps, and time-lapse on video as well. The all-new sensor allows a faster autofocus. The new iPhone 6 features the iSight camera, which has an Apple-designed video encoder and image signal processor, built into the A8 chip. The new phone as new focus pixels, with better face detection, good autofocus and an enhanced noise reduction, so it is easier to shoot higher-quality photos and videos.

Not only is there a new version of the iPhone, there is also a new version of the iOS update and they have finally made more changes that are included in the iOS 8. This new version of iOS has new swipe gestures, which makes it easier to navigate the phone with one hand. Apple also thought about how people use their iPhone every day and decided to redesign the buttons and make them easier to use. The iOS 8 allows Siri to control the devices in your home; there is also a health and fitness application that you can use to communicate with your doctor. There are also more fun and useful ways to send messages to people, making it more efficient for people. People can now record messages into the speaker and send the individual message to whoever they want.

According to the website Tech Radar, the new iPhone 6 has had many good reviews so far; it is more efficient, works faster, and has a better battery life. Apple has created a seemingly efficient new phone that allows you to use the phone all day with all of the new features and applications. Many people were concerned with how big the iPhone 6 was going to be, but now that many people own the new phone, they are satisfied with all the new features and how easy it is to use, despite the size.
