As the first season comes to an end, we can affirm that it did not disappoint. The show is full of action, drama, suspense and more. As Kate and Michal move along with their business and Eve’s last case, Kate finds more out about her past and where she came from.
With the presence of a war criminal in the U.K., Kate must figure out ways to work against the clock to bring this man to justice and make him pay for every crime he committed.
When in Rwanda, Kate meets with essential people to finish her mother’s last case to bring her justice. Throughout the last couple of episodes, we see the drama unfolding. We learn there are more people involved in the genocide and her mom’s case than we’d imagine.
We see that we can’t trust everybody. People we thought were good and liked, ended up not being too good for Kate, Eve or even Michael.
The show incorporates real history, but it also shows how hard some people must fight for what they believe is right. But beyond that, it shows how deep scars can go, even if they’re not physical.
We believe season two will clarify some questions season one left us. We hope Kate finds out who she is and where she came. Hoping she can overcome her inside demons, which would free her from her pain.
