The United States Government has officially released the names of people who were mentioned in the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell.
The trial of Ghislaine Maxwell came, due to her connection with Jeffery Epstein and his prior court convictions. Epstein, who owned Epstein Island, along with locations in New York and England, has been the center of a major legal battle and controversy. At these locations, allegedly, many underaged girls were sex trafficked and forced to be with prominent members of society along with making adult videos.
“Just like any other case, someone spoke up,” remarked Dr. Joseph Cillo, assistant criminal justice professor at Saint Leo University.
According to AP News “In 2005, police in Palm Beach, Florida, began investigating Epstein after the family of a 14-year-old girl reported she was [assaulted]at his mansion.”
Due to these allegations and evidence. Epstein was arrested in 2006, pleaded guilty in 2008, and was released in 2009. This release was cut short when the case reopened in 2018. He was then arrested again in 2019.
According to the Department of Justice documents, Jefferey Epstein’s formal accusation says, “The charges for Epstein were sex trafficking conspiracy and sex trafficking.”
Epstein passed away in jail not long after he was sentenced. His death was ruled as a suicide; however, people have speculated that his death was not self-inflicted and that there is more to the story.
Soon after Epstein’s death, the New York Court System found a connection with him and Maxwell.
In the Department of Justice documents, Maxwell’s formal accusation says, “Maxwell was charged with conspiracy to entice minors to engage in illegal sex acts and perjury.”
The case against Maxwell, like Epstein’s case, caught the eyes of many Americans as they started to hear bits and pieces of what was going on.
Eventually, as the trial concluded and Maxwell was placed in jail, many people demanded to know who was mentioned in the trial and who was involved in his trafficking ring.
After much pressure, the United States Government decided that they would release all the information about the names that were mentioned during the trial.
While these people have been named specifically in the trial, it is important to know that this does not mean they engaged in illegal activities. While it may be true in some cases, all this list means is that they had in some way shape, or form mentioned during the trial.
According to the Independent, some notable names that have been mentioned on this list are former U.S Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, Duke of York Prince Andrew, Steven Hawking, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Michael Jackson along with several U.S. senators.
