Hispanic Heritage Month, called “Viva la Cultura,” took place on Oct. 2 at the Student Community Center (SCC) boardrooms. This event was held to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, an annual observance that takes place from Sep. 15 until Oct.15 in the United States.
On Sept. 17, a panel of four Saint Leo University professors from a range of departments gathered in TECO Hall to answer questions about immigration and national security for Saint Leo University’s annual Constitution Day event.

Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA at 18 with the goal of motivate young conservatives; the organization grew rapidly with a presence on thousands of college campuses.
The Saint Leo University chapter of Turning Point USA hosted a memorial on Sept. 16 for Charlie Kirk in the Student Activities Building. There were many students and faculty who went in honor of Charlie Kirk.
In memory of those who lost their lives during the terrorist attack on 9/11, Saint Leo University worked with Spelman to host the “In Their Honor” event on the morning of September 8.
