The Saint Leo University Campus Activity Board events are back in business for the fall semester! On August 28th, students gathered on Kirk lawn for an exciting event where they had the chance to tie-dye their own shirts.
There were buckets of dye, with all different colors, from red, green, yellow, to blue. Students were having a blast using their creativity, mixing colors. Many students did green and yellow to represent the Saint Leo school colors.
The students got to decorate their own Saint Leo CAB shirts! There were rubber bands, so you can make your own design however you wanted, and they also gave students gloves so they wouldn’t get their hands dirty from the dye. After the students finished up with their colors, they put them in a ZipLock bag to take home. After they let it sit for 24 hours and put it in the wash, they will be able to see their cool, fun, handmade, tie–dye shirt.

This event was perfect for the first week of school, especially with dealing with the stress of finding a good routine, starting out new classes, and homework. It was simple, enjoyable, and added something exciting to many students’ days.
“We thought of this event because it’s been extremely successful in the past on Saint Leo’s campus, and it is also interactive,” said by Saint Leo Campus Activity Board.
This activity gave students the opportunity to have fun and do something on campus besides school and work.
Overall, the tie-dye event was a success and a great time where students got to embrace theirartistry and engage in an activity that was stress-free. Saint Leo CAB never fails to have fantastic events, and they started off the Saint Leo fall semester on the right foot.
