Some very exciting news for business students was announced on Nov. 5th! If you go to the Student Activity Building (SAB), there is a room at the end of the hallway. There is a huge sign on the wall that says, “Made by us Marketplace.” Under the title, it says, “The Saint Leo Boutique”, which is a learning hub for artists, entrepreneurs, and future business professionals.
The purpose of this program is for students to sell their own unique products. The room in the SAB will be a student-run arts and crafts store where students’ products will be held.
Not only can you sell your products, but it also provides students with real-world experience in running a business, designing products, managing time, and developing financial skills. Many business students at Saint Leo University want to own their own businesses after they graduate. “Made by Us Marketplace” is a great way to start and learn business skills, such as leadership, marketing, management, and responsibility.
The program begins in January 2026, next semester. If you have a passion for artistry, entrepreneurship, or the business world, this will be an amazing way to embrace your passion and desire in your heart.
If you do decide to join, you will have the opportunity to be part of a community with the same passion as you, share your product with students and faculty, and build your personal brand.
Anna Fleeman, a senior majoring in Business Management, said, “As a business student, the most beneficial part of the ‘Made by Us Marketplace’ program is the hands-on experience of selling real products created by fellow students. It’s a chance to see the full process of bringing a product to market, from creation to pricing, branding, display, and customer interaction.”

Made by Us Marketplace is a great opportunity to gain experience in the business world. If you want to open your own business one day, this will be great practice.
