College time is one of the most critical periods in a person’s life. Many people have dreamed of this for a long time and have prepared themselves for this moment. However, all the preparation and going to college might be costly for several people. Some spent their whole lives saving for this moment, and others spent their entire lives building an excellent curriculum worthy of an outstanding scholarship.
Beyond the financial situation, when the time to register comes, it is good to be on time and register in advance to ensure you are in the classes you want. However, some people might need help with their time management regarding registering.
Saint Leo also knows all of that and is considering its students’ financial situation. The university is offering a special one-time award to all undergraduates who register for the fall 2023 semester before April 21.
“It is good to have an extra motivation to register earlier. It is good to be on time because the classes might be full before you register.” Said Isabela Stasio, an international studies major who is also a sophomore student. “So having a little extra money to incentivize that is a good thing.”
The Early Bird Award is a one-time award of $100.00. All students that have registered for twelve or more credits in the fall 2023 semester, have full-time enrollment status at University Campus in fall 2023 semester and have satisfactory academic progress status are eligible. The deadline is April 21, and the award is $100.00, which will be applied to the fall 2023 tuition charges.
After April 21, the criteria will be revised, and all the students that meet the requirements will have the award added to their student accounts as a one-time award. Students must know that the eligibility for the award and the one-time offer might result in adjustments to other institutional aids.
To register for the fall 2023 semester as soon as possible, freshman and sophomore students must schedule an appointment with their Student Success Coach or ask their Academic Advisor to enroll them in the fall courses.
Appointments with success coaches are available to be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am- 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm. Students with any financial hold stopping them from enrolling should contact financial services before April 21. The financial services office is in St. Edwards Hall on the first floor, and their contact information is 800-240-7658.
