
Saint Leo’s 2010 Art Show
On November 16, 2010, the gallery in St. Edward Hall showcased pictures and drawings of Saint Leo University’s very own artists.

It seems the time for college students and drinkers of any age to get “loko” has come to an end. The popular caffeinated alcoholic beverage, first introduced in 2006, has already been banned in several states, sending many into a buying frenzy.
The International Students’ Association brought sugar, spice and everything nice to Saint Leo University on November 17, 2010 with their annual International Food Night. International Food Night provides integration of the school body and enables students to learn more about each others’ cultures through food.
For anyone who longs for the smell of baklava, craves the taste of a gyro, and appreciates the essence of Greece, an authentic Greek town is right around the corner. Not far from Saint Leo University, a small Greek community has been thriving in Tarpon Springs for many years.
They differ from person to person. They happen once a year. They bring joy and consistency to people of all ages. Holiday traditions can be a wonderful way to bring friends and family together and can make the holiday season even more enjoyable.
It was not so long ago that the Tampa Bay Lightning hoisted a Stanley Cup Championship banner. But recently, hockey in the Bay Area has struggled with success. After beating the Calgary Flames in seven games in the 2004 Finals, the Lightning have made the playoffs twice, losing in the first round each time, and selected first, second, and sixth in the 2008-10 NHL Entry Drafts, respectively.
Every year the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) participates in a Christmas charity. This year, SAAC chose a project called Operation Christmas Child.
Many that grew up with the Harry Potter series have loved, or grown to love the fearless threesome of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Those that have grown up with Harry Potter understand why the last and final installment of the Harry Potter series brings sad emotion to many beloved fans.
