Just imagine: a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows, a blanket, and a comfortable bed—all of this will make anyone feel relaxed on a fall evening. To fully immerse yourself in comfort and relaxation, you will always need to turn on a TV show. But which show will add even more autumnal vibes? What should you watch to discuss with your friends later?

Living in Florida, you sometimes miss the “golden autumn” from the fairy tale, where everything is covered in yellow and orange leaves. Especially if you have moved to Florida from another less warm state, or from another country altogether, then most likely you know the real autumn mood and even the autumn blues.

Have you ever heard of the “Gossip Girl” series? This is a series that is saturated with an autumnal atmosphere because the action takes place in New York. Where Central Park, alleys, and street crossings are all covered in golden leaves.

“In the TV series “Gossip Girl,” most of the episodes are set in the fall, and as a result, many of the colors and moods used are reminiscent of autumn. There are also a lot of mystery tropes that can only be done when it’s ‘dark’ outside,” said Brianna Ortega, a sophomore student majoring in Sports Business.

References to autumn are also felt because many of the shots were taken near schools, which not only signifies the beginning of a new school year but also the arrival of autumn.

“I think it reminds me of autumn because of the colors highlighted in the show, and that is when the first season begins,” mentioned Kaylee Banks, a sophomore student majoring in Marketing.

The main characters are teenagers from rather wealthy families who attend a private school, and they do not wear the usual boring school uniforms. Instead, these children turn their school uniforms into a fashion show, showcasing their plaid skirts, cashmere cardigans, and autumn coats.

While some people are focused on fashion, others, such as the “Gossip Girl,” are keeping an eye on the main characters and uncovering their secrets. This makes the autumn series a subject of much gossip and revelations.

For five seasons, the students try to figure out who is really publishing all the gossip and revelations. Who is not going to miss any secret? It becomes clear only in the fifth season.

Watching the series “Gossip Girl” is a good idea for this season of the year because, beyond theatmosphere of autumn comfort, there is a real drama that you want to reveal.
