Are you struggling to think of some fun ideas for Easter? There is pumpkin carving for Halloween, and caroling and decorating trees for Christmas, but what is there to do for Easter?
An adorable, festive idea for Easter is to gather some friends for a picnic with pastel colors, outfits, and food. These foods can include things such as carrots and ranch, sandwiches, candy, and fruit. Have a blast with your friends and take pictures while enjoying your picnic.
Decorating eggs with colorful food dye and paint is also a good idea. You can draw a cross, your name, flowers, hearts, and more on the eggs. Get creative with it!
Lily Glasgow, a freshman majoring in nursing, said, “My ultimate favorite activity of Easter is dying eggs with my family.”
For another fun activity, get all the people you know, and do a huge egg hunt. You can purchase a big pack of plastic easter eggs and hide them at a park or house.
If you want to participate, churches often do Easter egg hunts too. If you are the host, you can create prizes for whoever found the most eggs, or put candy, money, or gift cards inside the plastic eggs.
Another fun activity you can do is go to a home decor store, and buy things to decorate your dorm, apartment, or house with some Easter decor. Grab some flowers, vases, Easter-themed plants, blankets, rugs, and get creative to brighten your space.
If you are religious, Easter is a great reminder of Jesus’ life and sacrifice. This is a perfect opportunity to give back to people.
You can create an Easter-themed gift for someone filled with things they love. It will make their day and maybe give them an idea to do it to someone else. By doing this, you could start a kindness chain.
“What I usually do during the Easter season is just simply reflect on Jesus Christ and how He died for everyone’s sins and rose again,” said Dr. Maxwell, an advisor and success coach at Saint Leo University said.
There are so many ways to get into the Easter spirit. Try some of these activities and have a great Easter, Lions!
