Being a college student and shopping for gifts during the holidays can be tough when balancing finances and busy schedules. Black Friday and shopping this year will be quite different this year with the COVID-19 pandemic still affecting the world. If you are someone who loves shopping and giving gifts to your loved ones, we have found some great Black Friday deals and thoughtful gifts just for you!
Macy’s
At Macy’s, you can find some great deals for Black Friday. There are winter coats for 60% off, instant pots on sale for $69.99, and cosmetics—like MAC lipstick—for as low as $15. Although we are in Florida and winter only lasts for about a couple of weeks, coats can be a great gift for loved ones who are out of town or for those who need a new and improved look!
Sales at Macy’s start on Nov. 24 and last through Nov. 28. More details about what Macy’s has in store for their Black Friday sales can be found on their website.
Walmart
Walmart has great Black Friday deals that range from TVs and laptops to cleaning supplies and video games that will be both in-store and online, to accommodate your social distancing needs.
For those who have loved ones who are avid gamers, starting on Nov. 25 the PlayStation 5 console will be on sale for $499, which will be available online only. Nintendo video games will also be on sale for $30 each online.
Black Friday deals will start on Nov. 25 at 7pm and will run through Nov. 27. You can find more Black Friday deals on Walmart’s website.
Personalized Gifts
On websites like Etsy, you can find many personalized gifts for your loved ones. Personalized gifts can be very meaningful, especially on items such as jewelry, cups, wall decor, and more. Imagine your loved one’s delight as they unwrap their gift with their very own name on it—personalized gifts definitely make for special sentiments.
Face Masks
Face masks are excellent gifts to get your loved ones this holiday season. They are perfect for 2020 and probably will be a very popular gift this year. Think about your loved one’s favorite movie or TV show—you can get creative when shopping for themed masks that your friends or family will love.
