The Saint Leo University baseball team was more than ready to defend their home field as they hosted their home opening series. Those who were in attendance showed their lions-pride and dedicated support for their team.
Cold for students becomes a feeling of discomfort and sometimes even stress. Although the cold weather is not a reason to skip classes at all, the desire to attend them disappears.
Washington, D.C., is an often-overlooked trip location in a world that craves tropical, relaxing vacations. However, as the nation’s capital, it is the home of numerous hidden gems, historic monuments, and fascinating museums, which are absolutely worth the trip.
On Jan. 29, the film, “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,” was shown to students in Selby Auditorium from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event was organized by the University ministry team.
Just one month into 2026, the year has already made a frosty entrance as a big snowstorm has hit many parts of the United States. Now, even southern states feel the winter cold, with many citizens in sunny Florida asking, “How is it so cold when there’s so much sun?”
Most people have new year resolutions or aspirations they want to achieve when a new year arrives. Usually, it is the resolutions they didn’t really commit to in the previous year.
Florida is a diverse state, home to many populations of unique animals that fly, swim, and glide through our ecosystems. Like humans in the winter, many animals flock to Florida to escape the cooler temperatures; a few of these include manatees, sandhill cranes, striped bass, and milkweed bugs.
The Spring Pep Rally & Bonfire, organized by the Spirit Committee with Athletics, took place near the lakefront access by the little bridge. Students gathered to start the evening together.
On Jan. 27, Residence Life hosted a Vision Board event for 2026 in the lobby of Apartment 5, where students not only had fun but also created a vision board outlining their goals for the year.
