The 2021 student-run production of “Pollyanna” is a play based on a 1914 children novel by Eleanor H. Porter. The play reminds us to be happy and grateful for what we have. Thanks to the effort of the cast and crew, the performance was able to go on stage for the first time on Saturday December 4, 2021, at 2 p.m.

Uniquely You: Self Expression in its Purest Form

On Dec. 3, 2021 at 5:30 p.m., an event titled “Uniquely You” was hosted by Saint Leo University’s Campus Activities Board (CAB). This event was centered around the idea of self-expression and provided Saint Leo students with a safe space to display their talents. The organizer, Damion Drackett, a sophomore majoring in bio-medical health sciences, said that he hosted the event to educate students on the ways they can express themselves.

Research from the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health revealed that stress is a normal feeling that everyone experiences during specific periods in life. Additional research from Gregoire revealed that as the examination period swiftly approaches, every student whose goal is to achieve exceptional grades may experience some degree of stress or anxiety. Although stress during testing is considered quite normal, there are numerous resources on campus provided for Saint Leo University students to destress.
