Name: Kenneth Wybieracki

Major: Biomedical and Health Sciences

Class standing: Sophomore

SGU position you applied for: Vice President of Operations

What experience do you have which makes you qualified for the position you’re running for and a better choice than your opponent(s)?

I was a Saint Leo Senator my freshman year. I was sent to Student Government Day in my home state of Massachusetts where I met with state senators, representatives, and Governor Charlie Baker. I have a great interest in politics and believe that my drive and tenacity put me ahead of my opponents.

Why do you want this position and what/who inspired or motivated you to run?

I want this position because I believe I am the most qualified for the job. I know that I can make a positive difference at Saint Leo, and I know all of the potential this school has to be even greater. My parents inspired me to run; They have always believed that I am capable of great things, and I owe them everything.

What do you hope to accomplish and how do you plan to accomplish these goals in your position?

I hope to get more career resources for our school. While I think the school does a pretty good job of connecting students with employers, I think we could do even better. I really want to see if we can get more internships and shadowing opportunities for our students.

What would your first action in office be, if you are elected?

I would like to reevaluate the budget and see what changes could be made in order to make the lives of Saint Leo students even greater.
